Rajamouli’s Bahubali Latest Updates

We all know that SS Rajamouli is making his new film with Young Rebel Star Prabhas. The film is a period drama titled “Bahubali”. The title would be a working title for the film. The title has brought lot of interest among film goers as it suits the heroes like Prabhas – Rana and also represents bravery. Rajamouli and his team are searching for suitable locations in south india like Kerala and Tamilnadu states. Rajamouli condemned the rumors linking his film with Bahubali of Gomateswar temple Jain in Karnataka state.

He revealed his film is completely based upon an imaginary story and is not connected to any kingdoms or rulers or history. He also condemned the reports of offering the lead role to Kannada hero Sudeep, who played villain role in his Eega film, before offering it to Rana.

Anushka will act as female lead whereas Rana Daggubati is playing as Antagonist in the film opposite Prabhas. Prabhas has already seen with a thick beard during Mirchi audio launch and grapevine was that this is part of his new look for Rajamouli film.This big budget period drama is being produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni on Arka Media banner.
